Christmas just seemed to come out of the blue this year! With alot going on i lost track of time and neglected to make all my treats that we normally hand out. Oh well there is always next year. The sat before christmas we went to see the Temple lights with Adams younger brothers family and he older sisters too. It was great fun as Aubrie and Mackay are like stuck together like glue when they get together. Monday the 19th was Adams 42st birthday and we spent it at Zoolights with My older brother and his family and my mom. That was alot of fun. Even the 17 year olds had a good time! On the 21st my little sister flew in from North Carolina to spend the holidays with us. Emily, Aubrie, and I picked her up on the 22nd and went and had a hair day! That was great fun! The 23rd we went to my brothers house in Grantsville. We started the night by Santa coming for a visit! That was fun as everyone that wanted a gift had to sit with santa! Even my Dad!!And then we did family pictures out in their yard. Everyone was wearing some type of red!( as this Family bleeds red!!)( of course it isnt just for the U either!! My nephew played for Grantsville high football too!) We then went in and did more pics in front of the fireplace. And to round it all off we all got funky jammie bottoms and black shirts and had a few pics taken in the theater room!! That was a blast! We finished off with a yummy dinner and games typical jensen fun! Christmas eve found Adam at work for a little bit and then we headed down to my parents. We had a good dinner and then it was present time. My sister had decided that they were coming out christmas afternoon to bring her presents for the girls out. So Keri ( my sil) and i along with my mom decided it would be fun to do the 12 days of christmas for Tiffany. We had the fancy boxes that have the song versues on them and she had to sing the verse to open the box. After she would open 1 someone else would get one. By the time she got to the 12th day everyone was singing and as she opened the box all she found was a little black box. See Tiff had been telling me for a while that she wished she had a pair of nice square diamond earrings. So i decided i would get her some for her birthday next year and went to put them on layaway. Well i told my Sil about it and she said no way we are doing it for christmas. So when tiff opened the box she just couldnt believe it. The tears were flowing and so were the hugs. I think she liked her gifts! Christmas morning came and the girls woke us up at 6am went to their stockings and then got ready for church. Not one complaint! After church we opened the gifts ( having to take 2 intermissions to clean up paper!!) I think the girls were very very happy! My parents and mys sister came out to deliever a few other gifts. My sister got Emily a new softball bat! She loves it! She got Madison a 16 inch goofy doll! She is in love with goofy!! And then she did probably one of the greatest things ever for Aubrie. She got her tickets to the Nutcracker by ballet west for the 26th! Aubrie was extatic! She got dressed up on monday and went and had a great time!

We went to my brother and sister in laws house out in Grantsville this year. It was so much fun. showed up at 11 am and left at 8:30pm. The kids played and played. They played pool and ran and then Nate and Riley took Emily out side and played catch with her! She had a blast. We had a great dinner and played cards afterward!

Saturday the 5th Of Nov Aubrie was baptized in along with alot of 8 year olds. We were lucky as our ward got to go first and Aubrie was the first baptism of the day! This first pic i took a few days before so i could get it to the store to put on her cake!

The morning of she was so excited she woke me up every half hour starting at 3:30AM!!!!!

This one was taken as we got to the church getting ready to change. Her Oman made her dress and Aubrie just loves it!

We had a really good time this year and having the weather play nice was wonderful!! Emily carved a vampire in her pumpkin and dressed up as bat girl! Shes wasn't to happy to let me take her picture!

Aubrie carved alice from twilight in her pumpkin ( seen better at night) and dressed up as a good witch. She never hesitates to let me take her picture!

Maddie really didnt want to wear her costume, but boy did she want to go trick or treating!! She had been practicing for weeks everytime she asked anyone to open something she would say trick or treat! However once again for the second year in a row she was sick on Halloween so she didnt get to stay out as long as her sisters. Once she got into hercostume she made a cute bat princess!

Aubrie decided she needed to have a picture with mister bones!

I actually got a costue this year. Normally i piece together something, but this year i splurged! It was supposed to be a vampiress but i made it into a fab witch,vampiress whatever!!lol

Maddie decided that while mommy was indisposed she was going to get into some mischief! While looking for some chocolate chips she found the green and blue liquid food coloring. I guess she decided she had to be pretty and the color helped in that. I scrubed and scrubed so she is left with a light coating if green and spots on her legs!

So with school starting in three days I decided to take the girls to get their hair done by my fab cousin! Well this year i let them play a little and it came out fun and fab! For mom's too!!

I got an A in my first college math class! It took over 18 years to get, but i finally got the best grade i have ever ever recieved! Now i am just hoping that i can keep that grade up in this new math class. Wish me luck.

Wow it has been a busy month. I started my 1st math class ( in 17 years!) and so far i am doing well. My final exam is due monday so fingers crossed! We of course went to the 4th of july parade out here and once again this year Emily was In it. Maddie just loved darting into the street to get candy. We had to hold on to her or run and grab her several times!! Emily looked fab in her uniform and sun glasses! What a diva! We have also had alot of cousins over to play. So water has been the biggest and best thing to do, between the little pool and water balloons, adam then made a run through car wash and the kids have been having a blast!

June was so much fun. I took the girls to the Great Salt Lake and they had a blast playing in the water! Of course by the time we go home they really hated the dry salt on themselves!! It was also a horrid month. Adam got really sick during the beginning of the month and ended up in the ER. turnes out he had a rather large kidney stone. Two days later they had him scheduled for surgery. Got him there and ready and going and the stone had moved and they couldnt do the surgery. well waited a few more weeks( and trust me the man was in pain) and then went to take him in again to just break it up and miracle upon miracle it was gone! The doc cant figure it out cause it was like 6mm which is about 1/4". huh oh well he is better and we are stuck with a butt load of hospital bills:(

Ohhh man! who knew that school can take up so much of your time? Well i guess i should have figured as much!lol! Well it is catch up time. I am posting slideshows of what has been going on the last couple months. We will start with May.
The last month of school fo the girls is always soo busy. But we managed a trip to the park, a ballet performance and the school Assembly where Emily once again got a 100% attendance medal! Enjoy the month of May in Pics!

For the first time in alot of years, Mom actual got to go out for her birthday!For 10 years we have focused on Emily's birthday, being it is 3 days before moms. However this year we decided it was moms turn as well. Adam and I rented a nice car and went to dinner at a nice resturant in Gateway, With our friends Amber and Dan. We then Meet even nore of our group at a club called Keys on Main. It is a dueling Piano club! Oh My Goodness We had A fabulous Time. Laughing singing and just being crazy! I unfortunatly didnt get any pics of adam and I:(

This Is Me and my cousins, Christianne( she does my hair) and Matt. I used to babysit these guys when i was in jr high and high school. We are amazingly close!

Christianne decided that since I wouldnt let them tell the club it was my brithday that she was just going to make me dance with her instead!

Yup I am a slacker. So Emily Turned 10 this month! Yup double Digits! She chose to go out to dinner with the family on her actual day and have cupcakes.

Then the day after she invited 6 girlfriends and they went and played lasertag! She then chose a cookie for a cake! They had an absolute blast in the arena. I played 1 game with them. Realizing i was much to old to keep up!

They had so much fun. It was agreat idea for Emily's day!

Wow it cant believe it has been so long since my last post! Who knew school would take up so much of my time.lol! Well on that front I am doing very well. I am currently sitting with a 3.67 gpa! i am so happy, but it is tough. Maddie has been sick with croup with week so that ha been yucky. and now as of last night Aubrie is not feeling well. Although Aubrie is really excited! She gts to play a mouse in her ballet companys production of Cinderella. Which means she gets to be in all 3 acts! We cannot wait. And her Oma is being very helpful and making all the mice's dress and hats! Here are some pics from Jan. I would have more but my camera died. so these are all from my phone.

Ohh my soo much has gone on. Emily got Braces in Sept. she is really quite pleased with them!

Pam and i took Emily, maddie, and Del to Benson Grist mill for the pumpkin walk! They had a grea time!

Aubrie the lucky girl got taken to Disneyland for her 7th birthday! It was really funny as she had no clue. My mom asked her if she wanted to spend the night as UEA landed on her birthday this year. She sais yes and was so excited! I packed a seperate bag that was hidden in my dads truck. Thursday morning the 14th they decided to go on a drive. I get a call Mom we are at the airport, I inquired why she said i dont know but papa is getting searched!! ok mom gotta go Oma wants to go up the stairs.ok! Next MOM we are on a plane i asked why i dunno mom.ok have fun. THen i get a call Mom we are in denver Co, I said why and get home you have chores! she said we are waiting for another plane i asked going where she said i dont know.So then i get a call Mom we are in orange county! i asked again why she said she didnt know. She said they were going to get a car and go looking for fun. THen i get a call, she was in tears... Mom papa got us a hotel and they said we are staying here.. is that ok. I said yes hun that is fine. But but what about my birthday party? I said we will doit when you get home! she said ok. Well then they went to dinner and oma looked across the street and said i wonder where all those people are going?? I then get a call MOM WE ARE IN DISNEYLAND!!!!! she finally understood. she left thur and came home sun. She had such a good time. Hopefully i will have pics from my mom soon. Wow i just cant believe it Emily is now in the fourth grade and Aubrie is in First!! It was such an exciting day. Aubrie was soo excited to have school lunch!( yuk i say!) We had to pick emily up early for a dentist appt and as soon as maddie saw her walking up the hall she took off after her mae mae mae. she was so excited to see her after her being gone all day!

Aubrie started back to ballet today and is soo excited that she will have a different role in the nutcracker this year!
Emily is still waiting for a call to know what team she will be on for fall ball.

Adam took a semester of school off. i think it was the best idea he ever had!

Emily and Aubrie have been doing this summer reading program through the state and her school. WE got an Email today giving her a gift certificate for a book due to the fact that she is in the top 25 readers of the state!! Way to go Em!!

So last week Aubrie decided she was going to play on the bed in maddies room while Maddie played on the floor. I was working on laundry and heard Aubrie scream. I thought nothing of it as her and Emily had been fighting all morning! About 10 min later i hear pounding on the back door and Emily comes upstairs screaming!! Mom Mom Aubrie fell out Maddies window!!(12 feet at least!) I was like what and ran downstairs to see aubrie just a little shaken and covered in dirt and plant( she landed in the veggie garden!) I took her in my arms as she appologized. thinking i was going to be made that she fell on my plants!! I looked at her and said honey i dont care about the plants i care about you!! I then took her upstairs and gave her a bath and checked her over carefully. As i was undressing her i noticed that she had wet, she looked at me and said sorry mom. I told her it was ok as i would have done the same thing!! I made several phone calls and it was decided that i would take her to the ER just to be checked out. Luckly all she had was some scrapes on her Knee and a internal bruise on her side. She was on very lucky girl!

Wow so emily comes home from school today and hands me an envelope that says to the parents of emily yardley. she looks at me and says the teacher said i am not introuble. so i giggled and opened it. inside is a slip of paper informing us of the day and time of the school awards.and telling us that Emily is recieving the Tooele County School District Superintendent Award foe Scholastic Exellence!!!!! I about cried. not only that but she will be recieving her 4th award for 100% attendance for the entire school year.

We are so so proud of her and just wanted to share the news!!

Wow it has been months and months. time sure has gotten by me... Right now we are all sitting here sick. it all started off last sunday with Aubrie and the dr. and then maddie on Wed me on friday and emily on sat. Man it has been very crazy. Halloween was fun!! Emily was Jane( from New Moon) and Aubrie was a flapper and maddie was a daisy!! It was a great night. The pic is of me and my best friend destany!!

Man am i laging behind. I thas been such a month i think i forget to update! Maddie burst the membrane in her ear a few weeks ago( found out today it is fully healed!) I have spent the summer reading. The girls have been going in and out of the house playing with friends and cousins! We went swimming for a friends birhtday and i got crispy( forgot to check the sunscreen date!) Maddie loved the water! I am hoping to get pics posted. Maddie is now 6 months old! where do the time go? She is just over 17 pounds and 27 inches tall. she can sit with out help and she loves it. she has 2 yes 2 teeth. her bottom ones came in at the same time! she rolls around the house on her back and belly as well as her walker!She is also holding her own bottle! the dr today said that he is really pleased with her and that she is so far advanced for her age!( love hearing that!) Aubrie goes in for her school dr. appts starting next month and then at the end of Aug school starts up again!

WE had a blast on the 4th of july with some family friends, we played games and had water fights and ate and watched fireworks! it was a blast! My parents have decided to leave Utah for a month! yes a whole month! they are driving around the country. first stop casper wy, then on to mount rushmoore! Well i think for now we are caught up. I will try and stop being so lack! ohh yea and we have also been redoing the girls bathroom. We found mold so it was time to take care of it! adam has done a great job laying the tile and grouting it. for his first try. i will post pics once it is fully done!.

Wow it has been a little while since my last post. Well on May 2nd Emily And Delilah were both baptized! Adam Baptized Emily and Matt came up from St. George to Baptize Delilah. The day turned out really well after everything.. WE got to the church and they had forgotten about us and had started draining the font and so we had to have them stop that and refill it. The whole reason we had it at the time we did was so that wouldn't happen. Then my parents miss understood and we had to extend the timing so that they could make it there for Emily.Other than that it went great. Whitney did a wonderful talk on Baptism and Xavier gave the opening prayer. KeriAnna did great leading the music. The girls were dunked!! and then my Brother Alan gave a great talk on the Holy Ghost. Both girls were confirmed and then we headed to the house for a lite BBQ.

Madison is now 3 months old. We will be having pictures taken soon! We took her in and got her weighed and measured. She is now 12 lbs 8 oz and 23.5 inches long. She sur is growing like a weed. So Aubrie has been sick with a upper resp infection for about 2 weeks now and luckly getting better! But yesterday morning at around 2:30 am maddie woke up screaming coughing and her nose all stuffy and with a fever. She had had the cough and nose for a day allready so i didn't pay much mind just put on the humidifir. So With the fever not wanting to go away yesterday early afternoon i took her to the dr. Fevers make me really nervous with all the trouble Aubrie has with them. Plus the fact that Maddie is only 9 weeks old. The dr said it is a virus not rsv. Thanks goodness! But because of her age he wants me to call back today and tell him how she is! So all of yesterday i kept track of when i took her temp what it was when i gae her tylenol and when she threw up. By about 8pm last night Emily was saying that is it mom Maddie needs a blessing now! It was so cute ofher. Well at that point Adam was at work. So i called him and told him what Emily said. We spoke for a min and then I called my brother. ( one of the nice things of having him so close) We also called the elders Qurim(sp) president( as he lives across the street) and they both came over. Emily is quite a bit happier now and maddie is a bit better. But I will let you all know when I talk to the dr today what is going on!

Ohh it went so wonderfully. WE even had the surprise of Matt and Family showinng up. It about knocked me to the floor. i am pretty sure when I grabbed whitney and hugged her right away and matt, that they thought I was crazy!! It was great to have them and my brother there to share with us. We had a couple guys from the ward that mean alot to our family help as well. It is always a great joy when you can get the people that you love together.( And for those who couldn't make it you were there with us in our hearts!) Thanks to all that came and helped out. Welove you all!!

So I know it is a couple days late but Maddie turned 1 month on the 27th. She now weighs in at 10lbs and is 21 1/2 inches. Which means in a month she has gained jsut over 2 lbs and 1 1/2 inchs. She is doing great. We will post pictures tomorrow after her blessing!

So I have decided that life sucks around tax time! It seems we are cursed! For the last few years it seems that just as i am getting ready to file we end up needing to put a new clutch in a vehicle. Well Today I pressed the send button on our Efile and after that I ran over my blue tooth, and by the time adam got home from class( driving 40 mph on I80) we found that the car needs a new clutch! Well there goes the taxes yet again. Hrmph!!!

Well for the first time in almost 7 years someone got me to a movie theater!( I really hate movie theaters!!!) I had promised Emily if she read the first book after I had and with my help that I would take her to see it. Well she did it so I took her along with my mom( who didnt read it) It was a great movie!!! Although I will never read a book first! I had never done that and it made me look at a movie different. Emily too! She kept going mom but they forgot and mom they missed.. IT was cute. I will say though being I have read all 4 books 4 times I will see all the movies. And the same deal is going for emily and she is now on chapter 9 of new moon( book two) all I can say is if you havn't ready them it is a must!!!

Aubrie lost her First tooth last night. Well actually it is her third, but the other 2 were pulled by the dentist so they don't count. This one was actually loose for almost 2 weeks. She babied it until adam said that is enough it has to come out or you might swallow it( yes it was that loose)! She he got it out and then this morning the first thing she did was check her pillow and sure enough there was a gold dollar from the tooth fairy! She was so excited. She says she is now officially a big girl!

So on Sunday the 9th i missed the last step going down the stairs. i severly sprained 3 of the ligamints in my right ankle.( makes it tough to drive. LOL) I will spare everyone the pictures of the then and now. It wasn't and isn't pretty. So I have been hobbling around on and off crutches since then. Starting tomorrow i get to use a cane. Yippy!!! I have found it hard to get around with a bum ankle and a big belly. Although I am getting good at it. Baby is fine. She hasn't appreciated the bouncing of the crutches but I guess i am just getting back at her for thinking she has to spend all her time beating up my left hip! Well just wanted to up date everyone!

This week!!!

This week so far has been loads of Dr's. Monday Emily went in for her Physical. She is doing great she weighs in at 58 lbs and is 4'2.6" tall. She took her flu shot like a trooper not a tear or even an ow! The said she is just a little ahead of where she should be for her age. Then on Tuesday I went to the dr's. I have finally started to gain weight. In two weeks i put on 6lbs. In total i have gained about 5 lbs with maddie. ( i started out at 185 then lost before i started to gain. i am now up to 190) Maddie and I are doing well. We are where we should be for 30 weeks. Man 30 weeks 10 left it is crazy I am excited but also a little nervous about having a little one around the house again!!! Wed Aubrie had her 5yr old physical. She weighs in at 41 lbs and is exactaly 3'5" tall. She is right where she should be for her age. Her development is excellent! She wasn't getting 4 shots. But with only a little crying and screaming( no three nurses to hold her down this time!!!!) she got through them great. My kids and Adam are all set with there Flu shots. We know at least this year with the baby coming all will be good in the house. The end of the Dr's will be Friday. Emily is going in toi have a tooth ( they tried to save) pulled. It is a molar so she should be ok. Well that is the week in a nutshell.

So here I am 27 weeks along and trying to still do it all! Emily came home from school yesterday with a letter for adam or I to sign to let the school help her with her reading. ( Now mind you all emily does is read! Her normal reading min for the week is usually 240-380, the required is 160!) All i could think is what am I doing wrong that they think she needs help. I sat with her and we read for 30 min and i listened i mean I really listened to her. And to me she sounds like a 7 yr old. I mean you can tell she has a hard time with a couple things but come on she is 7. So I worked her hard yesterday trying to make up for anything I might have done wrong. Not realizing that maybe mom hasn't done anything wrong. I went and talked with her teacher just to find out. ( adam and i are not opposed to extra help we want her to excel, this one just confused us) With speaking with her teacher I found out that she has a hard time making letter sounds when they are with other letters like the word imp she would say I'm p. And i have heard that with her but I try to work it out with her. Well the teacher said that she is not in the bottom of her reading class but in the middle bubble (not above average). So her hope is to get her the extra help to raise her up a bit further. ok i can handle that. So now it is up to me to work a little harder on what we know is the problem. I have decided that frustrations with your children never end. On those bad days I look in the mirror and say I love my children I love my children!!! And off i go to help a little bit more.

Aubrie is of course Aubrie. She is loving preschool and cannot wait to be at the big school with her sister. I don't think she still fully understands about maddie coming as yesterday she took a flying leap with both knees into my belly( OUCH!!!!!) And that is all i said and i got the you don't love me, I'm not pretty, I'm not a big girls speech from her. That was a fun one to defuse before school started for the day! But with a little cuddling it all got worked out.

Maddie...... Ohhhhh she makes her self known when she wants to! Lets hope she can be this quiet in Dec. As for now the dr and I have decided if she has not come be Dec 27th they will induce me that morning. That way we make sure she is a Dec baby!

With baby Maddie well on her way we decided it was time to almost finish the new office so that Emily could be put in her new room on the third level. As you can see all we have left to do really is put up the crown molding when we can afford it! The next step is getting Emily's new rom painted so that we can start moving her down and then get Maddies room painted! Yeah I just love to paint!(ugh)

We had a blast this year. We actually bought a family season pass. so we get to go to more events. It is a great place for the kids to learn!
